Hey,
In case any of you were wondering The Shadow of the Bear just started filming today.
Prayers would be much appreciated!

Narnia News

Hey,
Sorry I have not been able to update lately, but Lucia just emailed me to let me know about this Narnia News. I just got this off www.narniaweb.com. Thank you again Lucia.

After several weeks of back-and-forth speculation about the future of the Narnia franchise, Walt Disney Pictures has announced that they will not be involved with "The Voyage of the Dawn Treader."

While declining to elaborate, Disney and Walden Media confirmed Tuesday that for budgetary and logistical reasons the Burbank-based studio is not exercising its option to co-produce and co-finance the next "Narnia" movie with Walden.

The third entry in the series, based on the classic books by C.S. Lewis, was in preproduction and set for a spring shoot for a planned May 2010 release. The development puts the participation of the talent attached in doubt. Michael Apted was on board to direct a script by Steven Knight. The key players of the second installment, "Prince Caspian" -- Ben Barnes, Georgie Henley, William Moseley and Anna Popplewell -- were to return for the third film.

Walden has a strong relationship with the Lewis estate and will shop "Treader" in hopes of finding a new partner. The most likely candidate at this stage is Fox, which markets and distributes Walden fare under the Fox Walden banner.

This does not mean the movie will not get made. It just means that Disney will not be involved. Walden Media will now have to find a new partner, with Fox being the most likely choice. One of the big questions now is how this will affect the production. VDT has already been delayed multiple times, and the actors are not getting any younger.

Don't despair, Narnians. Let's wait and see what happens.

Twilight / Narnia

I just took this off of IMDB.COM.
I will be very disappointed if Chris Weitz goofs New Moon.

Lautner 'Fighting For Role' In New Moon
17 December 2008 4:16 AM, PST
news
Twilight star
Taylor Lautner is reportedly battling to play Jacob Black in the hit film's sequel New Moon - after rival actors Michael Copon and Ben Barnes showed an interest in taking over the role.
Lautner played the Native American character in the box office smash, and was expected to continue his portrayal of the part in the movie's highly anticipated follow-up - in which Black becomes a pivotal character.
But movie maker
Chris Weitz, who has taken over the director's chair from Twilight's Catherine Hardwicke, is planning to offer the part to a more established actor, according to industry reports.
Prince Caspian star Barnes and actor Copon are reportedly both in the running to take over from Lautner.
And a representative for the franchise admits the film's castings are not yet set in stone.
A spokesperson tells MTV, "The casting decision in regards to the character Jacob Black has yet to be made."

Good Luck Taylor Lautner!
Good Luck Chris Weitz I hope you don't goof this.

Shadow of the Bear

How many of you know that www.theshadowofthebear.blogspot.com has updated to introduce us to the girl who is going to play Rose.
The blog has done an interview with, Blanche, Rose, Fish and one of the mean girls so far.
I will update with more ASAP.

New Moon

I just found out who the new director will be for New Moon.
Chris Weitz is his name he has directed, American Pie, About a Boy and The Golden Compass.
He is very happy to now be able to direct New Moon.
He is very concerned about us (the fans) and he wrote us a letter. If you wish to read this I would ask that you please go to www.stepheniemeyer.com and read it there.
I tried to copy and paste it but it wouldn't let me so that is the only way I can have you read it.

Narnia/ Twilight

Hey,
I just found out that there is a rumor that Ben Barnes is looking into the part as Aro in New Moon. He seems to have the same agent as Cam Gigident and is very popular in the twilight ring of fans already.
I will keep you posted when I find out more.
Thanks to Lucia for the info.

New Moon The Movie

Hey,
Just so you guys know Summit is looking for a new Director for New Moon the Sequel to Twilight.
Here is the article from http://www.stepheniemeyer.com/.

SUMMIT BEGINS SEARCH FOR NEW MOON DIRECTOR
Los Angeles, CA, December 7, 2008 — Summit Entertainment and director Catherine Hardwicke jointly announced today that the filmmaker will not be directing the next installment in the newly minted TWILIGHT film franchise. Summit's targeted end of 2009 or early 2010 release of the film, NEW MOON, does not work with Ms. Hardwicke's required prep time to bring her vision of the film to the big screen. Thus as has been done before with many successful film franchises, the studio will employ a new director for NEW MOON.
"I am sorry that due to timing I will not have the opportunity to direct NEW MOON," said Hardwicke. "Directing TWILIGHT has been one of the great experiences of my life, and I am grateful to the fans for their passionate support of the film. I wish everyone at Summit the best with the sequel—it is a great story."
"Catherine did an incredible job in helping us to launch the TWILIGHT franchise and we thank her for all of her efforts and we very much hope to work with her on future Summit projects," said Erik Feig, Summit's President of Production. "We as a studio have a mandate to bring the next installment in the franchise to the big screen in a timely fashion so that fans can get more of Edward, Bella and all of the characters that Stephenie Meyer has created. We are able to pursue an aggressive time frame as we have the luxury of only adapting the novels into screenplays as opposed to having to create a storyline from scratch."

I just wanted to send a shoutout to Ms. Hardwicke.
Thank you for directing the Twilight movie. I greatly enjoyed it!!!

Fairy Tales Retold

Hey,
I just wanted to tell you all that there has been a new post on theshadowofthebear.blogspot.com.
Just so you know they will hopefully start filming the movie by the 27th of December.
They are asking for a lot of prayers and I said that I will try to keep them in my prayers so please keep them in yours too.

Harry Potter

Harry Potter is still the biggest hit of this week.
So far I just found out that Emma Watson is in The Tale Of Despereaux and has attended the Premier in L.A.
The Second and most exciting news (for me at least) is that there is now a rumor that W.B. "has a strong interest" in making The Tales of Beedle the Bard a movie.
I will update when I find more information on the movie subject. Just so you know the book just came out last Wednesday so this sort of rumor is somewhat common. I wouldn't hope too highly on this subject however, I think it would be very interesting to see it made into a movie. I still have not had a chance to read the book so the only sort of story I can go by is the one told in DH (Deathly Hallows) and that would be a very interesting and enthralling movie.

Fans Of Many

What do you guys think about the picture and the layout?
If you have any suggestions please leave a comment.

Harry Potter

Hi,
Harry Potter seems to be very big this weekend.
Once again I wish to inform you that mugglenet.com has recently updated that ABC Family's Harry Potter weekend has shown more HBP (Half Blood Prince) clips and or interviews tonight through Sorcerers Stone, Chamber of Secrets and Prisoner of Azkaban. (Don't forget GOF is on tomorrow at 7:30 P.M.)
I just saw one five minutes ago and it was a short blurb of two interviews and a short clip. This one was about Tom Riddle.
If you wish to view these you can go to mugglenet.com. I will one day learn how to post these on my blog but until then please be sure to visit mugglenet.com and the-leaky-cauldron.org to view clips like this.

Narnia

Hey,
I haven't had a post about Narnia yet.
I will be using www.narniaweb.com as my resource for my blog.
If any of you find any more websites let me know.
Finally if any one receives any info on Narnia and I haven't posted it please comment with your name or your pen name and the date you found it and or the date it was posted.
Thank you! :-)

Harry Potter

Hey all,
Dan Radcliffe (aka Harry Potter) did an interview on Bravo this morning.
I don't know where you can find clips but if you look close enough you can probably find some clips on the internet.
Just so you know I watched part of it and Dan is very truthful.
It was very interesting. They go through the Harry Potter movies and Dan's other work. It was interesting.
***********************************************
I just started this blog yesterday so I am still very uninformed and I don't always know where to send you to find some of the information. If anyone wants to help me out that would be soooooooo cool!

Harry Potter

In case you guys wanted to know ABC Family is having a Harry Potter weekend and Sunday night at 7:30 o'clock they will be playing GOF (Goblet of Fire) with the deleted scenes. Also during the Harry Potter weekend they will be showing little interviews and previews from HBP (Half Blood Prince) the movie due in July of 2009.
the-leaky-cauldron.org just updated to let us know that the first HBP (Half Blood Prince) ABC Family clip has been played. You can see it on the the-leaky-cauldron.org now. I don't know how to post it on the blog or if I even can post it.
Finally if you guys are the least bit interested Leaky has just posted that there is a chance for people 13 years and older to go to England and visit the set of DH (Deathly Hallows). If you are interested you can once again visit the-leaky-cauldron.org and look into it more from there.
I hope someone tells leaky a few of the extra hits are from me.
BTW my time is a little goofed up. It is now a little later than 11:00 P.M. :)

Twilight

I know that a few of you kind of know what twilight is and I know that some of you don't really know what it is, well just so you kind of know what I am talking about randomly I will try to sum it up.
Twilight is the first book of a four book series written by Stephenie Meyer.
The story is told from seventeen year old Bella Swan's point of view about her move from bright and sunny Phoenix Arizona to a wet and rainy Forks Washington. She describes her new way of living, how she is now the most popular girl in school and how she is very independent. She cooks and cleans for her Father Charlie who is the police chief. She meets Edward in Biology and he looks like he wants to kill her.
Eventually Edward and Bella become friends but it is a long and tedious process.
There is much more to the story but I don't want to spoil it.
I will probably post a review on the movie next. I won't spoil it, don't worry.

Harry Potter

For those of you who don't know:
On Wednesday the third of December The Tales of Beedle the Bard by J.K Rowling just came out.
Leaky Cauldron just opened the Beedle the Bard book club on the fifth of December.
Rubeus Hagrid's Birthday is the sixth of December.
When I get more I will update!! :)

Fans Of Many

I am a fan of many things and one of my favorite things are books.
I love Twilight, Harry Potter, Narnia and Regina Doman's Fairy tales retold series.
I decided while reading Harry a History the other day that I wanted to start a web site. One for Harry Potter and one for Twilight. Today my Mom gave me the idea of starting a blog. I figured since I was a fan of so many books I would start Fans of Many.
My goal is to try to update other fans on the news of some of my favorite Stories.
If anyone has any information feel free to let me know.
I will be using the Harry Potter sites: the-leaky-cauldron.org and mugglenet.com as my Harry Potter resources.
I will be using: reginadoman.com and theshadowofthebear.blogspot.com as my Fairy Tales Retold resources.
I will be using: stepheniemeyer.com as my Twilight resources and if I can find more I might use them.
I am hoping that a few of my friends will be able to recommend a few more sites especially for Narnia.
Hint Hint. Let me know.
Phoenix A. Cullen ( my name is Harry Potter and Twilight combined if you can't tell ;) )
